St John's Wood property price trends 2025

The Latest Data on The St John's Wood Property Market.

According to LonRes the property data website that holds the most comprehensive, rich archives of London residential property data in the marketplace St John's Wood house sales have seen a large percentage drop in comparative house sales from 2024 to 2025.

NW8 House sales from 1st January 24 to 28th April '24 26 Houses sold within the NW8 area.

NW8 House sales from 1st January 25 to 28th April 25 11 Houses sold within the NW8 area.

Thats a total of 57% down from 2024 to 2025. St Johns Wood seems to have been affected the worse as opposed to other areas of prime central London which have weathered the market somewhat better. There are several reasons why this particular part of leafy Northwest London has been affected more than other prime areas but many will attribute it down to the current governments tax treatment on non-domicile residents which has been one of the most impactful measures on the property market and economy any government has introduced over the years.
