One of the first big deals of 2022 has gone through in north London, PrimeResi can reveal.
A boutique firm in St John’s Wood has tucked away a magnificent white stucco-fronted mansion priced at £32m.
One of the neighbourhood’s finest specimens, the “unique” residence on Hamilton Terrace came with two self-contained mews houses, a leisure complex, a 100-foot private garden and enough parking for a fleet of vehicles.
Measuring a mighty 12,563 square feet, the detached property had been “meticulously refurbished with incredible attention to detail and an exceptionally high specification”, according to the selling agent Ian Green.
Sales particulars noted features including a triple-aspect reception, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym, along with a passenger lift and integral garaging.
Green said the St John’s Wood market had been “extremely strong” over the last two years, explaining that a large proportion of the housing stock consists of low-rise detached and semi-detached houses set in generously sized gardens, “which are exactly the type of properties that buyers are choosing to purchase”.
Other standout sales locally in recent months have included a nine-bed on Avenue Road guided at £35m, and an eight-bed on Hamilton Terrace (£23.5m).
